Bwaaaaaaah!

Zoe had her first date tonight.

My photos aren't particularly great, especially since I still haven't figured out how to actually TAKE pictures at a higher resolution than 75 dpi or whatever it is, but these do give you an idea.

She is an actual princess. It was all I could do to not start bawling.

The city of Round Rock (about 20 miles north of us) has this great community center, and they're sponsoring a Daddy Daughter dance tonight, for Valentine's Day. Even though Zoe was diagnosed with strep yesterday, dammit, she WENT!

We've really been looking forward to this. One day last week, we spent a whole day going from store to store looking for the perfect dress and shoes. We've been marking off the days on the calendar, waiting JUST for today.

We put her hair up in the highest ponytail I could get it into and put little rhinestone clips in, too. I think you can see them in the second photo.

I'm relatively certain that this is the very FIRST time for Zach where he had to take along snacks, pajamas and antibiotics for his date. Then again, I HAVE wondered about some of his past girlfriends. . .

Why yes, she IS a genius. Thank you for noticing.

Keep in mind the girl turned three only three months ago. I like to think that the following just SCREAMS "Gifted."
