Uh-oh!

I registered for class today. Here's the blurb about it:

VTHT 2023 Veterinary Clinical Pathology I (64 hrs)
In-depth study of hematology and related CHEMISTRIES with
emphasis on lab procedures. Prerequisites: VTHT 1001, 1005,
1013 or instructor approval.

Italics, bolding, capitalization, MINE! Ack! I hate chemistry. The upside is that it's located at a campus closer to our house than exactly ALL the way across the WHOLE of Austin, and I am SO not kidding when I say that. You can look out the windows from the building I usually go to and actually SEE the northern border of Austin. (It's a giant purple line. Really!)

I had such trouble last night getting my paragraphs to have spaces between them. So much trouble, in fact, that they have NO spaces between them. In the window where I type, there are spaces. In the published blog, not so much. So don't think I'm retarded if this doesn't have spaces. I tried, I really did.

This here is Easter. And some other stuff.

Contrary to popular press, we are indeed still alive. So now that Easter has come and gone, I've decided to finally post a few photos of the day. It was cold and windy, but we managed to hide the eggs outside and do the hunting with coats on.

This pretty much sums up the energy level of the hunt. Zoe was the only huntress. At one point Zach accidentally found an egg, and all hell broke loose. He had to rehide it to avoid being sucked into the abyss.

The blue gloves and tiara she's wearing (that's invisible in this photo) were Easter gifts--the dress is from her last birthday.
The ballet recital is coming up soon. Last week were the professional photo shoots. You should have seen it. All the other little girls had to have their mothers go into the room, some were crying, some didn't want to wear the costumes. Zoe was knocking people down to get in there, and when she DID get in, she stood on the backdrop, hit her mark, (a spot on the floor where she had to plant the tip of her point) put her hands on her hips and gave the photographer about 4 different smiles, all without dropping the pose. She is signed up for the summer session, after which they do a recital with scenes from CATS. I can't stand it. Plus, next fall she's going into the next class up, from Toddler Dance to Preschool Dance, which involves tap. We got her tap shoes a week or so ago, because the summer session uses them, too. The people at the dance shop we go to love her. Of course, how could they not?
My second semester of school will be over on Wednesday. I got A's in the previous two classes, and if I pull a 93 or higher on the final on Wednesday, I'll get an A in this last class. It was a tough one: veterinary anatomy and physiology. I have discovered that some major weaknesses are chemistry (HATE it!) and anything pertaining to the lymph and endocrine systems. Bleah. With any luck, I won't be called upon to know alot about acetylcholine any time soon. Cuz whoever was asking would be shit outta luck. Only about 10 classes to go. Give or take a few. I don't feel like looking it up. I'm hoping to take clinical pathology this summer.
Okay, that's it. I was going to get all into things I need to do, because sometimes if you tell people about your goals, you actually achieve them, but I just don't feel like it right now, because some of them are really goofy. Maybe later.
