My awesomeness took a little dip today. Just got on to check my e-mail and get a message from my instructor, to whom I sent my take-home exam yesterday. It says, basically, "Looks good, but where's the rest?"

Awesomeness and positivity vibes going out to you!
I've been meaning to mention it to you for months now... but I went to a Trans Siberian Orchestra show late last year (gack, not my scene, but it was a favor for a friend) BUT -- it was at Lawlor Event Center, and our seats were almost exactly where ours were when we saw Duran Duran. Talk about WEIRD. I felt time double over on itself. I think if I had had the opportunity to be Nick's "hostess" back in the day, I couldn't have gone through with it. Remember how I actually *cried* like a lovelorn teenybopper when they came out on stage?
Get yourself on Facebook, dammit. It's where all the cool kids are hanging out. Kim Alqhuist (nee Goff) and Fred Romero have both friended me recently, and remember Tad Wisenor ("and Tad is not a small boy....") and Lonny Simard? Yup. Both friended me, even though we hardly ever interacted in high school. It's weird and fun. And they're all posting current pics of themselves and their kids. Surreal. Try it out if you haven't already.
